Lani is professional, reliable, communicative, and one of the stronger scopists on my team. Although she is newer to the profession, she learns quickly, takes initiative, and is willing to independently learn new software and workflows. She is also an excellent problem-solver and does not simply wait for me to be available to troubleshoot an issue or walk her through every step. When she does need clarification, she asks specific, well-organized questions that make it easy for me to give her the information she needs, rather than guessing. She also does an excellent job following instructions. I’ve worked with many scopists over the years, and unfortunately, it’s more common to find scopists who end up adding hours to my workflow rather than reducing them. Lani has never been one of those people, which is one of the reasons I’ve continued working with her. Even as a newer scopist, she has consistently been helpful, dependable, resourceful, and easy to work with. Good scopists are rare gems, so I’m very grateful to have found her. I only wish she had more availability so I could send her more than one transcript per week!
